I was tasked  to decorate our area in the office for our Go-Live support in our team. And after roaming around the internet for ideas, I decided to go with Paper Tower Chandelier and Pom-pom balls with some additional items.

Paper Tower Chandelier

Things needed:

  • Crepe Paper (Desired colors)
  • Masking tape
  • Yarn / String
  • Egg tray
  • Pair of scissors

1. Cut the crepe paper around 2 to 3 inch wide (or your desired thickness)

 2. Prepare your egg tray (you can use wire and create a ring where you can attach your crepe paper), attach the yarn that serves as your chandelier holder.
I have a lot of starbucks egg trays cause I always keep it every time we order for the team.
3. Tape each strand of the the crepe paper into the egg tray and fill it all around. You can use any color combination you'd like.

4. You can create as many paper towel chandelier as you need.

Pom - Pom Balls by Kim

1. Cut the japanese paper into a bondpaper size (if you have already in bond paper size, then it's fine)

2. Stack around 10 to 15 sheets of it and fold it around 2" alternately back and forth all the way to the end.

3. Cut the edge of the paper to create a stylish edge.

4. Tie the center of the paper and peel it each sheet dragging it to the center and continue doing it until it forms a ball.

FINAL RESULT:

We've created 15 paper towel chandeliers and 12 pom-pom ball for 4 hours. It's best to have a helping hands for this kind of project to finish it faster than we did.
